INDD=pattern

The INDD control statement is used with the IMPORT collection mode to supply the utility with one or more auxiliary trace data sets to import into C\Prof archive data sets.

If you are importing a single auxiliary trace data set, specify the DD name that defines the data set in the pattern parameter. For example:

IMPORT INDD=DFHAUXT

If you are importing from multiple auxiliary trace data sets, use a pattern to specify a range of DD names. For example, to instruct C\Prof to import from all data sets defined by DD names prefixed with TRACE, use the following statement:

IMPORT INDD=TRACE*

The auxiliary trace data sets specified in the JCL do not need to be grouped or placed into time sequence. C\Prof will merge the files in time sequence to provide the correct sequence of transactions. An example configuration can be found in Additional example of importing auxiliary trace data sets from an MRO group.
