Import CICS auxiliary trace data sets and dump files

If you have an auxiliary trace data set produced by C\Prof or by the CICS auxiliary trace facility, you can import it into the C\Prof transaction profiler. The import utility pulls the trace events and reconstructed transaction information into the archive data set format required by the transaction profiler.

This process is particularly useful for old, previously captured auxiliary trace data sets that have resisted previous analysis efforts using conventional tools. If you have a CICS dump, you can convert it to an auxiliary trace data set using C\Prof's IPCS VERBEXIT.
