C\Prof supports several batch data collection utilities that can be used for ad hoc batch requests.
To submit an ad hoc batch request, use option 4 Batch on the C\Prof primary option menu to generate JCL. You can submit the JCL immediately, or save it for later use.
In this section, you will learn how to submit ad hoc batch jobs to:

Take a back-in-time snapshot of the CICS internal trace and write it to an auxiliary trace data set (see Snap the CICS internal trace).
