The SERVER collection mode (SERVER control statement) starts the C\Prof collection server. In this mode, the collector can service collection requests originating from option 1 Regions on the C\Prof primary option menu. If you completed the setup procedure, you are already familiar with this mode. In this mode, you can collect data for transaction profiling, record to an auxiliary trace data set, take a snapshot, monitor collection across your CICS regions and establish collection topologies that span multiple LPARs.
