C\Prof has the following minimum operating requirements.
C\Prof collection task
The C\Prof collection task (or server) collects and stores data from the CICS internal trace. It has the following minimum operating requirements:
- An IBM System z10 (z/Architecture level set 4) or later.
- z/OS V2.1 or later.
- CICS Transaction Server for z/OS, version 4.2 or later.
C\Prof Web UI (web application and web server)
The C\Prof Web UI is an optional Java web application that runs in a z/OS UNIX-based web application server. The application comes with a pre-configured Apache Tomcat web application server. It has the following minimum operating requirements:
- z/OS UNIX.
- Java 1.8 (Java 8).
- A running C\Prof collection server.
- A web browser. For the best experience, use Google Chrome.
