Letter from our CEO

As I reflect on the past year at Rocket Software, I am blown away by all we have accomplished together. We added to our amazing, global team of Rocketeers with the additions of Uniface, ASG Technologies and Zumasys; we held a wildly successful virtual conference for customers and partners with EVOLVE21; we thanked and celebrated co-founder Andy Youniss as he became Executive Chair and I stepped into the CEO role; and, of course, we continued to launch powerful product updates that truly move the needle for our customers.

To highlight a few of those innovations: 

• When it comes to modernization, IT leaders have been asking a fundamental question: “Where do I start?” We launched Rocket Process Insights to transform how companies approach modernization of their critical systems, allowing IT leaders to finally answer this question. With Rocket Process Insights, businesses can better understand how to prioritize their strategic modernization projects, drive continuous delivery against their plans, and quickly show bottom-line results to the business.  
   
• How can organizations stay ahead of their field? We released enhancements to Rocket EDX that help customers stay a step ahead of their competition by streamlining integration with partners, and updates to Rocket TRUfusion Enterprise that enable extremely efficient global collaboration, ensuring that the right high-quality data is delivered to the right place, the right way, at the right time. 
   
• What can we do to bring along the next generation of talented industry professionals? We partnered with Zumasys, Inc. to drive the continued innovation and modernization of MultiValue applications and acquired Zumasys’s database and tools products, empowering us to double down on our commitment to helping develop the next generation of MultiValue talent—with plans to deliver on-demand, self-paced courses for new developers and experienced professionals alike.

I can’t reflect on Rocket’s accomplishments in 2021 without looking forward to all that is to come. We know our customers are looking to future-proof their businesses and we at Rocket are uniquely positioned to be a true partner—accelerating their efforts and supporting them on their journey to open, hybrid infrastructure. Why is Rocket the right partner for such important initiatives? Take it directly from our customers.

In 2022, I’m looking forward to helping our customers—present and future—solve their most challenging problems through modernization. Customers are our North Star, and as their needs evolve, so do we. Rocket is a company that has undergone evolution after evolution in its 30+ years, and the coming year will bring more exciting growth, change and momentum. I am so energized and excited as I think about what’s to come and all that we will accomplish.

Love is one of our core values at Rocket. I want our customers to love the technology Rocket provides, love that we innovate faster than anyone else in the market and love that we are a true partner. None of that is possible without the talented individuals that make up this incredible team.

As I look back on the incredible outcomes delivered for customers over the past year, amid milestone after milestone, I want to thank every Rocketeer who made it possible day in and day out.
