Letter from our CEO

A Penny for Your Thoughts

Surveys. We are constantly bombarded with surveys – after we take a flight, after we check out of a hotel, after we purchase a car, etc. And that doesn’t even count the random ones that show up in our inboxes every day. Which ones do you respond to? Which ones do you ignore?

Rocket Software started surveying all of our customers almost two years ago. Why? We say that we build “software that matters.” We say we put our customers' agendas first. And we say that we treat our customers with humanity. I wanted to know from you if do we really do that? I wanted to know what you had to say about us.

Rocket Philosophy

Rocket turned 25 years old this year, and when we started the company we had a vision to build something that would be long-lasting. 25 years is a big milestone that not many software companies achieve. But I'm looking beyond that. I believe we that will be around for another 25 years (at least!) if we follow our formula of building software that matters, making our customers' agendas our agenda, and treating everyone with humanity.

So I'm asking for your help. I hope that you will consider responding to the next Rocket survey we send you. If you like us, tell us. And tell us what we are doing right so we can do more of it. If you don't like us, tell us. And tell us what we are not doing right – so we can do less of that.

-Andy
