Milestone month. We have now passed the one-year mark of the first global pandemic of our lifetime. Countless people across the globe have been infected with –and too many have died from– the novel coronavirus knownn as COVID-19. We have been tested – medically, physically, mentally, and emotionally. We have quarantined. We have been isolated. We miss our family and friends and neighbors and colleagues. Our favorite restaurants and local shops have closed – some temporarily, some permanently. Life as we knew it has changed. What was normal isn’t normal anymore.

But there is hope. Millions of people have recently been vaccinated. And, although there are millions of people (like me) still waiting their proper turn, the number of daily vaccinations continues to increase and the number of COVID-positive cases continues to decrease. One year in, the light is starting to shine. It’s been a long, cold, lonely winter, but here comes the sun, and it’s all right. I hope you are able to let a little bit of that sunshine in on you and your family.

And speaking of family, I am happy to announce that we added a new member to our Rocket family last month. Please join me in welcoming Uniface (as our 54th acquisition) to our family table.
