Rocket Software Heads to SHARE, Gartner and GSE Conferences

As we close out a busy February, there’ll be no letting up as we enter a new month. In March the Rocket Software team will be headed to three separate industry events, engaging with peer businesses and partners, and sharing our expertise through speaking sessions and panels. We’ll be at SHARE Orlando 2024, the Gartner Data & Analytics Summit, and the GSE Conference, where Rocket Software experts will present on topics critical to attendees’ IT modernization journeys.
Here's a look at our exciting month ahead:
SHARE 24 (Orlando, Florida, March 3-7)
We’re headed back to SHARE—an event bringing together senior leaders of I&O, mainframe infrastructure and systems operations leaders who will discuss the most pressing enterprise technology topics—and this year, there’s a lot in store. Rocket Software will be holding over ten speaking sessions during SHARE, including the event’s keynote, which will be given by Rocket Fellow and Vice President of Software Engineering, Tim Willging, who will discuss how the mainframe will thrive in years to come. A few other sessions we’ll be hosting include a look at the strategic impact of hybrid cloud in mainframe organizations with Tim and Jeff Cherrington, vice president, product management, infrastructure modernization at Rocket Software, as well as a lunch and learn with Tim and Jeff alongside Rocket Software Principal Solutions Advisor Bob Bersano, and Rocket Software partners Kevin Poole, worldwide sales leader, System z database tools at IBM, and Ka Chun-NG, senior technical staff member at IBM, around optimizing Db2 lifecycle management for peak performance.
Gartner Data & Analytics Summit (Orlando, Florida, March 11-13)
Next up, we’ll be at the Gartner Data & Analytics Summit discussing all things data, analytics, AI, modernization, and everything in between. This event comes at a time when AI has become increasingly ingrained in business operations, making data and analytics a critical part of achieving success. At the event, which brings together CIOs, CDOs, data and analytics, and I&O leaders, we’ll be holding speaking sessions and will also have a booth on-site where we’ll be sharing demos. On day two of the summit, Rocket Software President of Data Modernization Michael Curry will host a session at 1:15 p.m. ET called Five Secrets to Bridging Your Mainframe into Your Data Fabric.
GSE Conference (Dresden, Germany, March 11-15)
Our last stop of the month will be in Germany at the GSE Conference—an event that convenes senior leaders of I&O, mainframe infrastructure leaders, and systems operations leaders to engage in conversations around modernization strategies for enterprise IT. Among the themes being discussed at the event, modernization across IT landscapes, and the mainframe in particular, will be incredibly important. This year we’re excited to have Rocket Software President of Infrastructure Modernization Phil Buckellew present the keynote session on modernization without disruption on March 11 at 4:30-5:00 p.m. CET.
It's a jam-packed month of activity for the whole Rocket Software team, and we’re excited to hit the road to share critical insights around everything from mainframe modernization to new regulations like the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) to the impact of AI on IT infrastructure and data management processes.
