We’re pleased to announce the release of Rocket® AccuTerm® 8.1, an established terminal emulator for MultiValue applications. To improve its functionality and security, Rocket AccuTerm 8.1 now offers a seamless single sign-on experience, a true web version (i.e., with no hosted dependencies on Rocket Software) with features that match its desktop counterpart, and adherence to the industry's leading software security standards, including Synopsys Black Duck, Polaris, and VeraCode.

These advancements mark a step forward for MultiValue terminal emulation, empowering users with enhanced productivity, accessibility, and ease of use.

Single Sign-On

With the release of 8.1, Rocket has recognized the importance of simplifying AccuTerm user access and security. The implementation of single sign-on (SSO) eliminates the need for multiple login credentials, providing a seamless experience between Windows desktops and MultiValue systems.

With SSO, users can connect to MultiValue Application Servers without the need to re-enter their user credentials, saving time and eliminating the hassle of remembering and managing multiple passwords. This streamlined authentication processes enhances productivity and user satisfaction.

Web Version Parity

Rocket AccuTerm's web version has undergone significant enhancements to match the robust functionality of its desktop counterpart. By offering feature parity between the web and desktop versions, Rocket AccuTerm ensures that all users have access to the same features.

Security Recommendation: Upgrade Today

We highly recommend upgrading to 8.1 at the earliest convenience for the most secure software. If you have a current maintenance contract, visit Rocket Business Connect (RBC) today to download 8.1. If you don’t have an active maintenance contract, please contact your Rocket salesperson or partner.

Developing secure, high-quality software is a priority at Rocket. To ensure platforms meet top standards in these categories, Rocket Software adheres to standards set by some of the leading software scans such as Synopsys Black Duck, Polaris, and VeraCode with each release.

Rocket acquired the Zumasys product portfolio on Oct 14, 2021. Starting with the Rocket AccuTerm 8.1 release, these scans are integrated into the release process. For details on what else you can discover in 8.1, please review the release notes.

Zumasys did not conform to the same security and quality practices hence any release prior to 8.1 does not align with Rocket’s standards.
