Rocket creates innovative, market-leading software products for our customers. We partner at any phase of the software product lifecycle from concept to production launch and support. Our flexible engagement model allows customers to utilize Rocket's global engineering team for complete, turnkey product development or for a specific product lifecycle service. Rocket has a substantial pre-existing library of technology assets that can be re-purposed in order to further compress product development efforts. We provide a number of support services including prototype development, user documentation, quality assurance, customer support, and pre- and post-sales support and training. Domain expertise

Rocket provides the major OEM vendors product development expertise in domains that are not strategic to existing portfolios. For example, when RSA Security decided it needed to provide the marketplace with System z versions of its popular RSA SecurID, RSA BSAFE, and RSA ClearTrust products, they turned to Rocket Software. Legacy product support

In addition to new OEM software ventures, Rocket engages in maintenance and support contracts for existing products to assure long term support for key legacy markets. Legacy product support can often represent a distraction to OEM players that are striving to achieve market dominance in new segments, or simply trying to control costs. Rocket takes complete ownership of the legacy product, from maintenance releases to customer service, ensuring that there is no interruption in service for the end customers.

Porting services

In order to achieve wide market acceptance, software products must run on all the major platforms. Software vendors are often shut out of important opportunities because their products don't run on one or more specific platforms. The up-front investment and subsequent maintenance costs can be significant when porting to another platform. Will the subsequent revenues justify the expense? Rocket has the computing infrastructure and cross-platform talent to rapidly and cost-effectively migrate products between all the major enterprise computing platforms including: Mainframe, UNIX, Windows, and AS/400. Pre- and post-sales support

Rocket understands that making million dollar product sales of enterprise software products requires significant customer facing technical resources. Rocket provides seasoned sales support engineers who are proficient in the Fortune 500 enterprise software market. We help you to leverage our unique understanding of a product's value proposition in order to shorten the sales cycle and close the big deals. We develop training materials, conduct Webinars, attend trade shows, and even accompany your sales executives on customer calls. We know what it and we are ready to play a key supporting role.

QA & customer support

Rocket's in-house Technical Support team provides a full-featured Customer Support function with web, email and telephone support as well as the Quality Assurance function. Depending on the need, Rocket can provide vendor-branded, customer facing support at any level. This service can be provided on a temporary or permanent basis.
