What does MVUMobileApp do?

MVUMobileApp is an application that you can install on your mobile device.  It allows you to see the conference agenda, search and sign up for sessions and labs, create a personalized agenda, and share topical information on popular social media. MVUMobileApp will also show you sponsor information and provide general information about Rocket and MVU.

Information MVUMobileApp obtains and how is it used.

MVUMobileApp may collect the following information: your first name, last name, email address, telephone number, biographical information, photograph, company name, and Rocket product family that you use. Your first and last names and email address are required fields in order to use MVUMobileApp. They will be used by Rocket to send you notifications during the MVU conference. Other optional information, such as company name, and purchased product information (Unidata, Universe, D3, etc) will be aggregated and used by Rocket for statistical purposes. The personal information gathered from the profile you fill out in MVUMobileApp is used in these ways:

  • To provide information regarding the event you are attending (such as schedule changes and announcements)
  • To enable event attendees to communicate with each other should they choose to do so

After the conference this information will be deleted from Rocket’s systems.
