Rocket MultiValue Product Lifecycle Now and into the Future

The Rocket MultiValue (MV) Product Lifecycle allows customers to plan upgrades so they can take advantage of the modernization and innovation features in fully supported, generally available (GA) product releases. It also allows the Rocket MV product teams to focus on releasing new features over maintaining older versions of products.
Every 12 to 18 months the Rocket MV team analyzes various product versions and moves them through the MV Product Lifecycle. On September 1st, 2022, we announced the latest Product Lifecycle updates. These changes have a one-year grace period and will take effect September 1, 2023. You can find lifecycle status definitions and changes in product version statuses on Rocket Business Connect (RBC).
What’s new to the MV Product Lifecycle
Rocket MV is very excited to announce updates to our product lifecycle. We’ve added more products to the lifecycle and have announced a new lifecycle policy going forward.
New Products - The MV product portfolio has grown with the addition of jBASE, OpenQM, AccuTerm, and MVConnect. Product Lifecycle may be new to some of our customers, and we encourage you to review the full MV Lifecycle announcement to understand how this will affect you and your upgrade plans. New Policy - In the future, we will be announcing the lifecycle of a product version at the time of release. Each product version will have a standard, predetermined lifecycle to align with industry best practices and to allow you to plan your upgrades Once we release a product version, you will see the GA, EOM, EOL, and EOLS dates defined in RBC and we will be adding these dates to existing product versions soon.
