optimized batch processing

Mejorar el rendimiento de IBM zSystems

Mainframe batch windows are under increasing pressure from growing data volumes, with processing time constrained by SLAs or sub-capacity license agreements.

Rocket® Performance Essential automatically optimizes batch I/O, reducing processing time, system overhead, and resource consumption - without requiring changes to applications. This eliminates the need for manual mainframe batch performance tuning, allowing your IT team to focus on strategic initiatives while ensuring efficient mainframe operations.

Reduce EXCP counts by up to 90% with automatic buffer allocations.

Extend the life of critical applications by freeing your mainframe performance team.

Cut batch run times and resource consumption by 50-75% - no manual performance tuning.

Lower mainframe system overhead without modifying applications, improving data center and end-user productivity.

Improved performance

Reduce Batch I/Os by 90%

Significantly improve mainframe batch processing performance with improved I/O efficiency. You can automatically reduce I/Os by up to 90% within hours of installing Performance Essential — no manual performance tuning required.

reduced resource consumption

Protect sub-capacity license agreements

Avoid exceeding sub-capacity licensing. Optimize I/O automatically to cut batch job resource consumption and shorten the time for jobs to complete, without manual intervention from your mainframe batch performance team.
