A global community of innovators creating solutions that improve the world we share.
Rocket.Build began in 2014 as a small internal hackathon that occurred during an annual Rocket Leadership event. On the surface, Rocketeers were given a simple challenge: make a difference for our customers through product innovation over the next five days.
We couldn’t have imagined back then how Rocket.Build would change us forever.
Today, it’s grown to include not just Rocketeers, but our entire customer, partner, and student ecosystem. Our global community of Rocket.Builders innovate throughout the year in both Rocketeer and student events, challenging themselves to create solutions that improve the world we share.
What Rocket.Build means to all of us
Rocket.Build 2026 is officially underway, and we’re thrilled to launch the 13th year dedicated to innovation, collaboration, and bold, game‑changing ideas!
This year, we’re introducing a new structure designed to help participants develop stronger, more strategic, and impactful projects. Before official registration opens in June, we’ve designated two full exploration days—March 13 and May 29—dedicated entirely to researching possibilities, shaping early concepts, and building the foundations of your project.
Whether you have a few ideas and need time to evaluate them, want space to determine the expertise your project requires, or spend time outlining your technical approach, these days are set aside for you to focus on Rocket.Build 2026. We’re confident that this intentional preparation will lead to more exciting, ambitious, and robust results across the board.
The momentum continues in the fall: coding and regional judging will take place September 10–11, 2026, followed by the in‑person finals, tentatively scheduled for November 2–6, 2026 (location to be announced).
Get ready to explore, build, and push boundaries—let’s make Rocket.Build 2026 our most inspiring year yet!

Rocket.Build 2026 invites every innovator to rethink what’s possible and pursue bold, customer-focused ideas.
As you form your projects and teams, ask yourself: How are our customers reimagining their world with AI—and how can we help them realize value faster?
Consider how EVA or any of Rocket’s strong platform offerings might support your vision, whether for mission-critical workloads, AI acceleration, or unified solutions that help customers modernize with confidence.
Think about the impact we can create when Rocket’s portfolio operates as a unified, hyper-integrated engine. Integration is not the goal; customer outcomes are. Your projects should demonstrate how AI, unified building, and platform thinking can elevate customer experiences, speed modernization, and simplify mission-critical environments.
We are excited to present this year’s themes below. Good luck!
Focus: Enhancing our customers’ end-customer experiences
Theme Statement
Design AI-powered experiences that enable our customers to deliver faster, clearer, and more intuitive outcomes for their end users. Build solutions that anticipate needs, remove friction, and turn complex journeys into simple, value-rich moments.
Challenge
Reimagine a real end-customer moment—such as checkout, onboarding, service inquiry, or risk decisioning—by applying AI and Rocket platform capabilities to make it smarter, faster, and more human.
What this theme focuses on: Delivering exceptional, innovative end‑user experiences that create meaningful impact for our customers’ customers.
Focus: Improving internal operations and employee workflows

What this theme focuses on: Innovative, internal improvements that streamline work and boost productivity.
Focus: Increasing synergy across the Rocket platform
Theme Statement
Demonstrate how combining Rocket products and data can create powerful new capabilities that no single product can deliver alone. Think about interoperability, shared insights, unified workflows, and seamless transitions across the Rocket ecosystem.
Challenge
Create a cross-product solution that showcases how Rocket’s portfolio works better together—through shared data, integrated workflows, consistent UI/UX patterns, or entirely new value enabled by product synergy.
What this theme focuses on: Creating value across the entire Rocket ecosystem by bringing products together in powerful, connected ways.
We welcome customers and partners to join us at Rocket.Build every year. It’s a chance to work alongside Rocketeers, share fresh ideas, and help build something exciting together.
We encourage students to participate in Rocket.Build each year. You’ll get hands-on experience, connect with mentors, and be part of a thriving community.
Inspired, motivated, and excited about making something with lasting impact, Rocket Builders are driven problem solvers. Rocket.Build events give Builders the time and space to create things that help solve new problems for Rocket customers, and many amazing projects have come from every event.
