Social Interest Solutions Modernizes Public Assistance Enrollment with LegaSuite from Rocket Software

Newton, Mass., July 13, 2011—Rocket Software (www.rocketsoftware.com) today announced that Social Interest Solutions (www.socialinterest.org) has integrated Rocket’s LegaSuite application modernization software with its flagship One-e-App system to allow state and local governments to help individuals and families identify, access, and enroll in eligible public and private health and social services.

Social Interest Solutions’ One-e-App system is a web-based screening and enrollment application that gives low-income individuals an expedited and simplified way to apply for a range of public and private assistance programs and eliminate barriers to accessing services that make a difference in the lives of children and families in need. One-e-App is operational in several states and supports a broad range of benefit programs in each jurisdiction. Social Interest Solutions selected LegaSuite to provide a service-oriented architecture (SOA) interface between One-e-App and CalWIN, the system of record used by 18 California counties to determine eligibility for key public assistance programs such as Medicaid, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Access Program, formerly Food Stamps) and TANF (Temporary Aid to Needy Families, also known as Cash Assistance). LegaSuite automates the screening process to determine eligibility for all the programs CalWIN administers.
