Rocket Announces General Availability of UniVerse 11.2

MultiValue database speeds time to market while reducing total cost of ownership

Rocket Software (www.rocketsoftware.com) unveiled release 11.2 of the UniVerse Database, its industry-leading MultiValue database software. UniVerse is an extended relational data server that lets users store business-critical data in a natural structure and access all relevant information with one direct read. UniVerse avoids performance-draining database joins, offers data replication and encryption, and enables high-availability solutions. Rocket UniVerse 11.2 delivers these new features:

  • Account-based licensing – Allocates and manages the license allotments for each account individually so you can ensure that all of your accounts get their fair share of licenses.
  • Audit Logging – Provides a tool flexible enough to support your specific needs, such being HIPAA/HITECH and Sarbanes-Oxley compliant.
  • Replication Performance Monitoring – Monitors the performance of UniVerse replication in all sections of the system, enabling you to pinpoint bottlenecks early on.
  • Local subroutines/functions – Enables more modular code in UniVerse Basic. Local subroutines/functions will help you improve code maintainability and reduce defect rates, getting you to market more quickly and with better quality.
