About Jay Leader

Jay Leader serves as Chief of Staff and a strategic partner to CEO Milan Shetti. In this role, he leads efforts to strengthen and expand strategic partnerships, help operationalize key growth initiatives, and scale Rocket’s values.

Jay joined Rocket Software in 2014 as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer and was later appointed Chief Customer Officer, overseeing Technical Support, Professional Services, Managed Services, and Customer Engagement. He previously held executive roles at companies including Rapid7, iRobot, Nypro Inc., Data General Corp., and Coopers & Lybrand.

A former chairman of the Boston Society for Information Management CIO Roundtable, Jay was named the 2010 Massachusetts CIO of the Year by the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council. He earned both his BA in International Relations and his MBA from Clark University in Worcester, MA, and now resides in Redmond, WA—while proudly remaining a lifelong New England Patriots fan.
