The best innovation comes from a convergence of perspectives, experiences, and creativity that build on one another to make ideas stronger. That’s exactly what Rocket.Build is all about: bringing people together to collaborate, refine, and reimagine what’s possible.
As Finals Week approaches, we’re spotlighting another incredible participant who embodies that spirit of shared innovation. This time, we caught up with Rashmith Tula, Technical Lead at Rocket Software, who’s participating in his fourth Rocket.Build. He shares how the event continues to push boundaries, strengthen teamwork, and inspire bold thinking year after year.
This is my fourth Rocket.Build, and I participate because it gives me the opportunity to step outside of my routine work and experiment with innovative ideas and work that muscle and who knows, one of them might even grow into a real product offering.
I’m excited to learn from the other teams. This year, the projects are all focused on AI and AI Agents, so I’m particularly excited to see how the other teams are pushing the boundaries to see how these AI agents can solve real-life problems.
Rocket.Build provides the opportunity to make our products even smarter. It’s all about pushing the boundaries and discovering how far these technologies can go in shaping the future.
I’m very proud of my team going into Rocket.Build. Getting selected to be part of the final is very satisfying, and I’m incredibly proud of Raunit Kohli, Mangesh Diyewar and Rishabh Gupta.
We were able to take what seemed like a big idea and it’s inspiring to see how we brought it to life in such a short time. This is a great testament to teamwork; together, we can move mountains.
Whether we win or lose, events like this have a broader impact beyond the projects. We get to learn from smart teams and develop broader perspectives. Rocket.Build creates a culture of collaboration, encourages creativity, and teaches us how to think beyond immediate constraints; lessons that naturally flow back into everyday work. It’s the main reason I participate.
I haven’t experienced this type of culture before, and it’s inspiring. I’m particularly grateful to our CEO, Milan Shetti, for driving this growth mindset and emphasizing a culture of collaboration. It’s no small thing to invite us all to take three days away from work to focus on these projects, and the dedication to our growth does not go unnoticed.
In one word? Electrifying. I am expecting the week to be full of energy.
I am most excited to meet the ELT members who are driving such transformative initiatives across Rocket. I am also looking forward to meeting co-workers that I don’t typically get to see in-person. And of course, I’m excited for my team to present and win this contest!
For Rashmith, Rocket.Build is about more than just coding – it's about building team spirit, cultivating a culture of curiosity, and continuous growth. His reflections capture what makes this event so special: the chance to learn from one another, experiment with bold ideas, and celebrate the creativity that fuels Rocket Software’s innovation.
