Three key takeaways from the summit

  1. The threat landscape continues to evolve rapidly driven in part by complex geo-politics as well as technology developments with adversaries taking advantage of AI to boost their cyber attack efforts. This has resulted in a focus on resilience in Critical National Infrastructure, and justifies requirements set out in cyber regulations.

     

  2. Proactive security is essential for protecting the latest developments in the AI era, namely Agentic AI. Security practitioners may seek AI solutions that really move the needle to augment security and improve management of cyber risk for compliancy.

     

  3. NIS2 and DORA remain top of mind for CISOs and the Executive Board, since leadership accountability is built into the regulations. IDC research shows that CEOs are focused on investing in technology to strengthen GRC, and for driving up cyber resilience in line with regulations. However, European regulations are likely to evolve to meet the new requirements of AI and Post Quantum-readiness.
