Deployment, redeployment, & rollbacks

As build packages are imported and moved from stage to stage, Rocket Aldon deployment solutions will deploy them on a secure, authorized basis to the right target locations for testing and production. Deployment can be manually initiated and controlled or it can be automatic—it's your choice. We let you define rules that identify which packages go to which servers and clients at each stage of the lifecycle. The deployment process can automatically trigger builds and automated tests. And, if necessary, a previously deployed package can be selected and redeployed to replace a defective package. Aldon gathers, packages, distributes, and installs all parts of build packages to all appropriate target platforms on a secure, authorized basis.

Our deployment management solution also offers rollback capabilities so if you find that something didn't work like you thought, you can easily revert to the previous state, and re-deploy when the new build is imported.

Package promotion & integrity

Our Build Release Management solution lets you simply point and click to promote and deploy your package through the application lifecycle. Once the package is sent to Rocket Aldon DM, it is easily moved from stage to stage by authorized staff members through pre-defined workflows. With the click of your mouse, you can easily and automatically promote and deploy your build package. Separation of duties, workflow automation, and approval management are built into our deployment management, and are easily automated and enforced.

Because you set up a profile for the process of moving a build package, we always know exactly where the package goes, even if different packages need to go to different platforms and target machines.
