The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) comes into force in January 2025. That means we have one year to be ready for compliance. But what is DORA, and how will it affect my organization?

DORA has three essential aims: consistency across all financial entities throughout the EU; an ecosystem approach to cybersecurity; and a recognition that all financial entities are dependent on a robust and secure digital infrastructure. Importantly, DORA standardizes approaches to risk management, third party risk, resiliency testing, incident reporting, and information sharing.
