We talk a lot about our values of Empathy, Humanity, Trust, and Love here at Rocket Software. Those values help us keep our customers at the leading edge of their digital transformation and modernization journeys. However, that success is only possible because of the Rocketeers who are “All In” on those core values, bringing their passion and industry-leading expertise to every challenge that comes their way.
Our next Rocketeer is also one of our newest! Rocket Software Vice President of Application Modernization & Connectivity (AMC), Peter Sianchuk brings more than three decades of experience and has had a hand in various departments from renewals to customer support and professional services.

I grew up using Rocket Software solutions during various points in my career, so I’ve always known about the work happening here. Coming into a new organization, I was immediately excited by the core values Rocket Software brings forward. Everyone I’ve been able to connect and work with really takes those values—Empathy, Humanity, Trust, and Love—to heart and that’s reflected in the work we do.
Another thing that has really struck me is the openness and accessibility of our executive leadership team. No matter who you’re talking to, everyone is always willing to lend a hand, help find an answer, and tackle challenges together. The environment here feels like a very cohesive team without a strict hierarchy.
From the start, I’ve been incredibly impressed by the overall efficiency of execution that we have. The entire team at Rocket Software is a pleasure to work with, and it’s evident to anyone in the room just how much every Rocketeer cares about the work we’re doing. That environment is something I think really sets Rocket Software apart from a lot of other organizations.
These values are a powerful indicator of where Rocket Software stands as a company. Seeing those values placed so centrally in our mission goes to show the emphasis we have on understanding and caring for one another. In the time I’ve had to digest these values, I think the one that has particularly resonated with me is Trust. Trust is so important, both in our everyday lives and in the workplace. I want people to be able to trust what I say, know what we’re working toward, and have confidence we can achieve our goals without second-guessing or looking over our shoulders.
There’s an important connection to empowering others that comes from that trust and makes it a critical component to focus on. That said, all the Rocket Software values are equally important, and I see shades of each one in various interactions throughout any given day.
