Rocket Software offers certain products and features that incorporate artificial intelligence, including both predictive and generative techniques, to enhance product functionality, improve operational insight, and assist users in supported enterprise use cases. Our approach is grounded in principles of customer control, security, transparency, and responsible engineering as implemented within those AI‑enabled features.
Customer Control and Deployment Models
Rocket Software’s current AI offerings are designed to support customer control over how AI is used within its products, subject to the specific product, configuration, and deployment model.
Depending on the product and configuration, AI capabilities may be deployed in different ways, including environments where the customer selects, hosts, and operates the underlying AI model. In those configurations, Rocket Software does not operate the customer‑hosted model at runtime and does not determine customer‑specific configuration, usage, or update decisions, other than as expressly documented for the applicable product.
Where AI features are newly introduced into an existing product, customers are provided the ability to affirmatively enable those features. Where AI is core to a product offering, that use is disclosed in applicable product documentation and purchasing materials so customers can make informed decisions.
Human Oversight and Responsible Use
AI features are designed to support human oversight unless a customer explicitly enables automation as described in the applicable documentation. AI features are not designed to replace customer decision‑making or to independently initiate binding actions on behalf of the customer without customer awareness and control.
Rocket Software applies internal review processes as part of its development lifecycle to assess AI functionality, including its intended use, deployment approach, and risk profile.
Transparency and Governance
Rocket Software maintains internal AI governance processes that apply to the design, development, and release of AI‑enabled functionality. These processes are informed by recognized risk‑management and security frameworks and are periodically reviewed to reflect evolving legal, technical, and industry considerations.
Rocket Software’s current customer‑facing AI features are not intended or marketed for use in legally regulated decision‑making contexts such as hiring decisions, creditworthiness, biometric identification, or law enforcement, unless expressly stated in applicable product documentation and subject to any required additional controls.
This description is intended to explain Rocket Software’s general approach to AI‑enabled features. The specific functionality, responsibilities, and limitations applicable to any product or service are set forth in the applicable customer agreement and product documentation, which govern in the event of any inconsistency.
