Rocket Software Names Kevin Thimble CFO

WALTHAM, Mass. – Rocket Software (www.rocketsoftware.com) today announced that vice president and acting chief financial officer Kevin Thimble is now the company’s CFO. Thimble will continue to work in the company's global headquarters in Massachusetts and report to CEO Andy Youniss.

With more than 25 years of corporate finance experience, Thimble is responsible for overseeing Rocket Software’s global finances, including accounting, revenue recognition, financial planning and analysis, tax and treasury, and order management. Prior to joining Rocket in 2010, Thimble served as vice president and corporate controller at several public software companies, including Phase Forward Incorporated, Unica Corporation, and SeaChange International.

“Kevin has risen through the ranks in our finance team, which makes me even more proud to promote him and name him as our CFO,” Youniss said. “I have worked closely with Kevin through many financing events, including budget cycles and other finance activities over the past few years. I have no doubt Kevin will continue to impact Rocket in a positive way.”

Thimble holds a B.S. in accounting and economics from the College of the Holy Cross and is a certified public accountant.
