Rocket Software Names New CFO and New VP Human Resources

Key new hires in Mass. headquarters will support company's global growth strategy

Waltham, MA, April 2, 2013 – Rocket Software (www.rocketsoftware.com) today announced that Paul Walsh has joined the company as vice president and chief financial officer and that Richard Morgan has joined as vice president human resources. Both of them will work in the company's world headquarters in Waltham and report to Rocket CEO Andy Youniss.

"The Rocket family has grown to over 1,000 Rocketeers, and over 10,000 customers and partners around the globe," Youniss says. "I am thrilled to have Paul and Dick on board to help drive our strategy and execute on our growth plans."

Morgan has worked in the human resources profession for over 25 years. Early in his career he was an initial member of the HR team at Lotus Development Corporation. From 2004 until 2013 Dick worked for Dassault Systemes, a global leader in 3D design software, first as VP HR at SolidWorks and more recently VP HR for Dassault Systemes Americas Corporation. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and Tufts University.

Walsh has nearly 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to joining Rocket, he served as CFO at Silicon Laboratories; previously he held various operational, finance, controller, and management roles at PerkinElmer, Teradyne and Analog Devices. He serves on the board of directors of Nitero, an early-stage semiconductor company based in Austin, and previously served on the board of Grande Communications & Rio Holdings, a provider of cable, Internet and phone services. Walsh received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine and an MBA from Boston University.
