NextGen Academy Vilnius

Ignite your career with Rocket Software

NextGen

We're proud of the success of our pilot program. In Fall 2024, we launched the NextGen Academy in Vilnius, Lithuania, inviting 24 interns to join our intensive six-month mainframe and assembler training. We're thrilled that 20 of those graduates have since joined Rocket Software teams, proving the effectiveness of our program.

If you're looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity to kickstart your career in technology, keep an eye out for future NextGen Academy programs!

The booster and mentor initiatives in Rocket helped me a lot throughout the academy. They were always supportive and motivating when times were challenging. It allowed me to delve deeper into the Rocket culture. Not only did it allow me to see what kind of people I will be working with outside management but also to meet them in an informal environment."

I enjoyed our traditional community morning breakfast, starting the day with delicious food, coffee and good company. This initiative is as important to me as learning about mainframe! It is such a welcoming environment; everyone being motivated and always ready to help. Learning from technology experts, working individually and in teams prepared me for the upcoming challenges."

Joining Rocket Software’s NextGen Academy was a big step in changing my career path. The program opened my eyes to the unfamiliar world of mainframe, which I had never worked with before. The technical training was strong, and we got hands-on experience from day one. Now, I feel much more confident in my skills and excited to grow my career at Rocket Software."

NextGen Academy gave me a unique opportunity to start my career in tech while providing a collaborative and supportive environment to grow my technical and professional skills. You can see the core values—humanity, empathy, trust, and love—applied in all interactions across the company. What I really like here is working every day on interesting and challenging tasks, which reflects real-world problems. I recommend anyone who is aspiring to start or change directions of their career to join NextGen Academy."
