Rocket® VSAM Quick Index®

Improve data availability without adding resources

Sprechen Sie mit einem Experten

Rocket VSAM Quick Index software is a high-performance, low-overhead mainframe VSAM indexing solution that builds alternate indexes for VSAM KSDS and ESDS base clusters faster than IDCAMS BLDINDEX. You can reduce batch processing time and CPU utilization while improving data availability.

Improve efficiency

Highly efficient and fast

As data files and structures grow more complex, the use of alternate indexes becomes more important in managing your batch processing window and improving data availability. Using alternate indexes enables you to access data faster and improves the efficiency of applications processing.

Builds multiple alternate indexes while reading the base cluster only once.

Minimizes the amount of JCL you need to write.

Automates the process of calculating and allocating the optimal buffers for better performance.

Uses your existing sort utilities—no need to buy, install, and learn another utility.
