Fujitsu Australien wählt Rocket Software als Partner für Anwendungsmodernisierung

Newton, Mass., May 19, 2010 — Rocket Software (www.rocketsoftware.com) announced that they have been selected by Fujitsu Australia to provide application modernization solutions for customers with mainframe applications and entrenched business applications on other platforms.

“After evaluating several solution providers for application modernization, we chose Rocket because they offer proven software and deep expertise to bring solutions to market in a very short time frame,” said Conway Kosi, Group Executive Director, Solutions and Strategic Initiatives at Fujitsu Australia. “In our initial project, Rocket is helping us deliver a mainframe modernization solution with the New South Wales Police Force, helping them ultimately enhance their operational effectiveness.”

The New South Wales Police Force uses their mainframe-based Computerized Operational Policing System (COPS) application as a mission-critical tool in their day-to-day law enforcement and safety operations. They are using Rocket’s LegaSuite to enhance their existing mainframe application with a more efficient, user-friendly graphical interface to improve the usability of the application and bring multiple screens seamlessly together in one single view.
