Green Buildings

Rocket is committed to creating healthy workspaces because we believe such environments contribute to the wellness, productivity, and job satisfaction of our more than 1400 Rocketeers.  Our headquarters in Waltham, MA, is a gold level LEED (Leadership in Energy and Design) certified building.  There are more than 3 million commercial buildings in the US, but only 250 of them are LEED certified.  We’re proud that our certification is helping us not only operate with greater efficiency but reducing our impact on the planet.

Working in a green building ensures our employees breathe clean air, drink safe water, and work under the benefits of natural light in an innovative workspace design.

We incorporate a number of green practices in our everyday life at Rocket headquarters, including:

  • Recycling bins at every desk
  • A community garden we share with our corporate neighbors
  • Electric car charging stations
  • Reserved parking spaces for energy-efficient cars
  • Motion sensors and reliance on natural sunlight through insulated windows in place of electric lighting

Rocketeers across the globe are taking similar steps to incorporate green practices as well as take a proactive role in bettering their local communities. On an ongoing basis, we leverage our own software solutions to inspire and implement solutions to environmental issues. We’re also honored to work with some of the largest and most innovative companies in the world to help them optimize the energy efficiency of their own infrastructures.
