Key highlights

Move from MySQL to PostgresSQL database:

The performance and scalability of Arkivio have been improved with a new PostgreSQL database. PostgreSQL also offers enhanced reliability and delivers expanded security for your database.

Support for Google Cloud Storage:

Arkivio expands your options for archiving to simple storage services (S3) with the addition of Google Cloud Storage. Now you can push data to Google, in addition to Amazon S3, IBM® CleverSafe and NetApp StorageGRID.

Support for scheduling reports for CorVu dashboards:

Now you can schedule the generation of dashboard reports, allowing processing to happen offline for faster dashboard access.

Enhanced language support:

Dashboard reports have been updated to provide better support for Chinese and Japanese file names, directories, and server names.

Better UI flow and responsive web interface:

The user interface has been streamlined, offering a more consistent and responsive web experience.

Performance improvements:

In addition to the database change to PostgreSQL, there have been numerous back-end changes to improve the overall performance of Arkivio. Testing in our lab has shown up to a ten percent performance improvement in some instances (results may vary).
