Rocket Software Names Two Distinguished Engineers

Waltham, MA -- (March 1, 2015) -- Rocket Software (www.rocketsoftware.com), a global technology developer focused on enterprise computing, today announced that two of its senior technical leaders have been recognized as Rocket Distinguished Engineers. Tim Willging, based in Chicago, Illinois, and Joe Devlin, based in Waltham, Massachusetts, have played important roles in Rocket’s growth for more than a decade.

Willging has been with Rocket Software since 2005, and he is currently a Database Architect and Strategist where he focuses on mainframe, database, storage, and analytics technologies. Tim has more than 25 years of experience developing enterprise software, and has architected and developed several database software products in the areas of backup and recovery, cloning, change management, and storage resource reporting.  His recent work has been developing products and solutions for advanced analytics on z/OS.

Devlin joined Rocket Software in 2001 and is currently one of five of the company’s Lab Group Vice Presidents. Joe has 28 years of experience in enterprise software. Joe has demonstrated his leadership and technical expertise across a range of technologies, including artificial intelligence, natural language processing, business intelligence, graphics, network protocols, compilers, rule systems, and system and database management.
