Rocket MultiValue Integration Server (MVIS): Container Orchestration Services with Kubernetes

Kathy Larson

June 30, 2020

We’re hosting a Rocket® Software MultiValue University (MVU) virtual event in July. The topic is container orchestration services with Kubernetes and how our new Rocket MultiValue Integration Server (MVIS) can help.

On July 7 and 8 (July 9 in APAC), Amey Rokde, Rocket Senior Software Engineer, will dedicate an hour to Kubernetes, an open-source platform for managing containerized workloads and services. Join us to learn how you can use Kubernetes with the Rocket® MultiValue Integration Server (MVIS) to develop, maintain, and manage your UniVerse and UniData apps (D3 release planned for early 2021). Amey will cover:

  • A containerization and orchestration overview and tie this to MVIS with Kubernetes
  • How to set up and deploy a sample app using MVIS with Kubernetes
  • How to set up MVIS with a Redis server including running MVIS with Redis

If you want to learn about Kubernetes and the value it brings for developing, maintaining and managing MV apps using Rocket MVIS, this session is for you.

There’ll be plenty of time for Q&A during this 60-minute virtual event, and I hope you’ll join us as we explore Kubernetes and Rocket MVIS.
