  1. Why am I getting a letter from Rocket Software?

Rocket Software has purchased both Uniface the company, and the Uniface low-code platform, from Marlin Equity.

  2. How will change in ownership of Uniface impact me?

Uniface will continue to serve your needs as before the acquisition, meaning you should experience very little impact with this change of ownership. This document outlines areas where you may have questions, but most of the operating processes remain the same at present. Over time, we'll communicate any transitions or changes that occur well in advance.

  3. Why did Rocket acquire Uniface?

Rocket is excited to have acquired this company. We wrote more about the acquisition in this blog post.

  4. What is the value proposition for me? How will I benefit from this new ownership?

A technology driven company, Rocket Software brings an increased R&D investment and vast R&D resources, including Rocket's extensive rapid application development experience to the Uniface low-code application platform. Both Uniface and Rocket share a commitment to enabling customer and partner success. Drawing on thirty years of experience partnering with ISVs, Rocket will build trust and grow the Uniface ISV business community.
