Expand on the concepts you learned in UniVerse Administration (UV904). Get the information you need to make further administrative decisions regarding configuration, tuning, and monitoring. Explore the interaction between the UNIX operation system and the UniVerse database environment, including disk file access, memory usage, and interprocess communications. Develop an understanding of the UniVerse architecture to aid you in troubleshooting and problem avoidance.

This course is designed for system administrators and operators and programmers.
Prerequisites
In order to attend this course you must have the following skills or completed the following courses:
- UniVerse Administration (UV904) or equivalent knowledge
- Working knowledge of the UNIX or Windows operating system

- Process sequential files and devices
- Create printer drivers to extend spooler functionality
