Purpose

Learn how to manage a UNIX or Windows-based UniData relational database management system. Learn how to install and configure the software, manage data files, define and maintain security, and monitor system performance. Explore the relationship between UniData and the operating system.

Audience

This course is designed for database and system administrators.

Prerequisites

In order to attend this course, you must have the following skills or completed the following courses:

UniData Fundamentals (U2200) or have equivalent knowledge
Have basic understanding of the UNIX or Windows operating system

Configure UniData in a UNIX or Windows environment
Manage data files and accounts
