* Personal Editions
The UniVerse and UniData personal editions are available as free, downloadable, two-user licenses. Personal Edition for x86 servers operates with one to two processors running Microsoft® Windows or RedHat Linux®. The Personal Edition does not offer maintenance or support. It is designed for single-user personal development and training in addition to sales demos. Nor is it for remarketing or use in production environments.
Along with being limited to two users, the UniData and UniVerse Personal Editions also have an eight-process limit and a limitation of modulo 10007 assigned to a file. Also, the following add-ons do not function: Connection Pooling, EDA, NFA, RFS, UV/Net.
Personal editions of SB/XA and U2 Web DE can only be run on personal editions of UniData and UniVerese.
