Rocket Software continues to boost performance of Servergraph Professional through improvements to data collection, aggregation, and summarization that particularly benefit larger backup environments, where customers may see up to 20 times faster data collection and processing. Smaller environments can expect 5 - 10 times faster performance gains.
Intuitive Web-Based Interface
Rocket Servergraph provides an Administration Console for TSM, which gives users an easy and secure method to manage their TSM systems. This web-based interface gives users the control they need to administer and interact with the TSM backup environment based on their roles of responsibility within their organization and enables users to complete tasks ranging from creating a domain to defining a policy set to setting up a storage pool.
Added Protection for Secure Sessions
Servergraph Professional now provides support for LDAP, HTTPS, and SSL. Servergraph Professional can leverage existing LDAP infrastructure so that users have the ability to use one standard username and password and also get the added security of complex passwords with all the benefits that LDAP authentication provides. Servergraph Professional also supports the use of HTTPS and SSL as an added level of protection for secure sessions.
Expanded Coverage
In addition to these exciting new features, Servergraph Professional now supports TSM 6.2, TSM for Databases and TSM for Mail, along with integration with Gresham Storage EDT and IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus. With these additions, users now have the ability to expand coverage of monitoring and reporting for elements in their data protection environments and extend this coverage into centralized corporate reporting systems.
