LegaSuite offers comprehensive System z solutions for standards-based application modernization, integration and transformation services.

LegaSuite is built on Eclipse technology and plugs in seamlessly to complement the Rational Developer for System z (RDz) and any of the tools in the IBM Rational portfolio.

LegaSuite run-time components can be deployed directly on System z, while the flexibility in deployment options gives customers the capability to meet a wide variety of architecture requirements and exploit the latest System z specialty engines like IFL, zAAP and zIIP processors.

LegaSuite GUI

LegaSuite GUI (formerly known as J Walk and WinJa) allows customers to enhance user interaction and user experience by providing services to transform legacy green-screen applications into browser-based thin and rich client interfaces. LegaSuite GUI provides the capability to quickly and easily modernize traditional legacy character-based applications (System z 3270, VME/ICL, System i 5250, OpenVMS and UNIX-VT).

LegaSuite Integration

LegaSuite Integration (formerly known as Transidiom) is open standards-based technology that transforms the entire portfolio of existing applications and data throughout the enterprise into re-usable business services.

• LegaSuite Workbench, the development environment of the LegaSuite Integration module, is built on Eclipse technology and plugs in seamlessly to complement the Rational WebSphere Developer for System z (WD4z) and any of the tools in the IBM Rational portfolio.
• LegaSuite Integration run-time components can then be deployed directly on the System z. The flexibility in run time deployment options gives customers the capability to meet a wide variety of architecture requirements and to exploit the latest System z specialty engines such as IFL, zAAP and zIIP processors.
