Overview
The Rocket Mobile & Security Center is specifically tailored to notebook users, providing a means of securing confidential data from loss or theft, storing all account passwords in a secure repository, safeguarding your screen content while working in public places and conveniently managing your time zones while traveling.
The application consists of four bundled components:
Rocket.SecurityVault
Rocket.SecurityVault provides a means of securely storing confidential files on your computer, the presence of which is not revealed without appropriate authorization.
What if you could store your sensitive material to a secure drive letter that appears when you need it and disappears when you don’t? Rocket.SecurityVault works by allowing you to place your confidential data within one or more digital lockboxes. A lockbox appears as a new drive letter on your system (for example, drive ‘V’). Using this drive letter, you can access the contents of a lockbox in exactly the same way that you access regular disk drives.
When a lockbox is closed, its drive letter is automatically removed from the system, along with all traces of the data stored inside. Unauthorized users are not only denied access to your lockbox content but also have no means of determining the very presence of your confidential files and folders on your system.
- Fully portable lockboxes – the entire contents of a given lockbox is stored in a single, highly encrypted data file, allowing you to move lockboxes from machine to machine (for example, from your desktop to your notebook while traveling).
- Fully compatible with your existing security hardware or software, such as fingerprint readers, smartcards and embedded ‘security chips’.
- Ability to create an unlimited number of lockboxes of unlimited storage capacity (limited only by available disk space).
- Store lockbox data files on any form of storage from hard drives to portable devices, USB-based memory sticks or network file servers.
- Optionally prevents lockbox content from being crawled by Google Desktop Search even when the lockbox is left open by the user for extended periods.
Rocket.PasswordVault
Rocket.PasswordVault provides a convenient, easy-to-use means of storing, managing and accessing account names and passwords for web sites and secure applications. Leveraging the same security infrastructure used in Rocket.SecurityVault, the application stores all of your passwords in a single encrypted repository, unlocked by your Windows account, fingerprint, smart card or password of your choosing.
Rocket.PasswordVault not only provides secure storage of usernames and passwords but also automatically detects application and web site logon screens. Upon detecting a logon prompt, Rocket.PasswordVault displays a floating popup window, preset to the appropriate stored account, allowing you to ‘auto-fill’ the username and password fields. If an account for the site or application is not recorded, you can automatically create an entry via the same popup window.

Rocket.SecurityShades
Rocket.SecurityShades is the first 100% software-based privacy filter which prevents others from reading your screen while working in public places.

Rocket.Time Plus is a natural extension to our immensely popular free version. Incorporating the features most frequently requested by our customers, Rocket.Time Plus delivers the following key features:
- ‘My Time Zones’ page allows you to maintain a list of time zones, each of which displays a live view of the actual time at the respective location.
- A summary of your time zones can be optionally displayed in a docked or auto-hide desktop bar for easy reference.
- The ‘Set as current location’ option provides a simple and convenient means of changing the system time zone while traveling.
- Ability to schedule automatic clock updates at startup, once a day or at intervals that you specific (from 1 to 100 minutes, or 1 to 100 hours).
- Highly accurate update kernel measures the propagation delay between your device, the network and the Internet time servers, producing a reading that is typically accurate to within milliseconds.
- Uses up to five Internet Time servers for built-in redundancy, ensuring that updates will continue to be performed even if the top-tier Internet time sources experience outages.
- Ability to customize the application to use local Internet time sources, allowing overseas customers to replace the sources in the USA with their own regional servers.
