Q: Do you have snap-ins support for
IBM's DB2 QMF for Windows product?
A: The Data Snap-Ins support both Rocket Shuttle for
Windows and IBM's DB2 QMF for Windows. If you already own DB2 QMF for
Windows, Rocket Shuttle is NOT required in order to run the Data
Snap-Ins.
Q: How do I uninstall the Rocket Data
Snap-Ins V 3.0 for Microsoft Excel?
A: To remove the Data Snap-Ins for
Microsoft® Excel, perform the following steps:
Step 1:
Within Excel, select the 'Tools -> Add-Ins' menu item and uncheck
the following items:
- Rocket Excel Data Exporter
- Rocket Excel Data Snap-In
Step 2: Uninstall the software using the 'Add/Remove Programs' facility in the control panel.
A: One or more Microsoft® Office applications may have been running during your installation. When installing the Data Snap-Ins, you must close all office applications. To re-install, close all Office applications and re-run the Rocket Data Snap-Ins installation program.
Q: How do I run the Data Snap-Ins from
Microsoft® Excel or Microsoft® Access?
A: In Microsoft® Excel, run the snap-ins
from the 'Data -> Retrieve Data with Rocket Data Snap-Ins...' menu
item to import data into Excel, or the 'Data -> Save Data with
Rocket Data Snap-Ins...' menu item to export data from
Microsoft® Excel into a database of your choosing.
In Microsoft® Access, run from the 'Tools -> Add-Ins -> Rocket Data Snap-In' menu to import data into Access.
For your convenience, Rocket Data Snap-In toolbar buttons are also added to the standard toolbars; two new buttons are added to Microsoft® Excel and one new button is added to Microsoft® Access.
Q: Can I run the Data Snap-Ins without having to
install Rocket Shuttle for Windows?
A: No, Rocket Data Snap-Ins is a companion product to
Rocket Shuttle for Windows. You must have Rocket Shuttle for Windows
installed to be able to import or export data.
Q: Which versions of Microsoft® Office are
supported by the product?
A: Rocket Data Snap-Ins V 3.0 provides comprehensive
support for Microsoft® Office 97, 2000, XP and 2003 editions.
Q: What versions of Rocket Shuttle does this
product support?
A: Rocket Data Snap-Ins V 3.0 provides full support
for both Rocket Shuttle for Windows V 7.x and Rocket Shuttle for
Windows V 8.1.
