Overview
Rocket.SecurityVault™ offers a seamless solution to PC users who need data security but do not want invasive, complicated technology installed on their machines. With SecurityVault installed on your computer, losing a laptop or leaving a PC unattended will not compromise your important business information.
Your security vault consists of one or more secure ‘lockboxes’ within which confidential information can be stored. When a lockbox is open, a new drive letter is automatically added to your system (e.g. drive ‘K’ may appear). Using this drive letter, you can access the contents of your lockbox in exactly the same way that you access your regular disk drives. When you close your lockbox, the drive letter is removed, along with all traces of the data stored therein.

- Each open lockbox appears as a unique drive letter on your computer. Using this drive letter, you can access the contents of your lockbox in exactly the same way that you access your regular disk drives.
- Create any number of lockboxes within which confidential information can be stored. For example, you may wish to create separate lockboxes for business and personal data.
- Optionally prevent your lockbox content from being ‘indexed’ by Google Desktop Search when your lockbox is open (lockbox content is always undetectable when closed).
- Open and close your lockboxes with the stroke of a key.
- When your lockboxes are closed, all trace of the data stored therein is removed from the system, including the filenames and directory structure of your secure content.
- Transfer lockboxes from machine to machine by simply moving the lockbox data file.
- Protects your data using a 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) cipher.
How It Works
A lockbox data file is directly encrypted using your chosen password. Without your password, it is not possible to determine the contents of your lockbox. See the How it works section for more on SecurityVault’s protection model.

Trial Version
Use the link below to download a complimentary copy of Rocket.SecurityVault LE. This ‘limited edition’ version is designed for evaluation purposes and limits maximum lockbox size to 16MB. However, you can create an unlimited number of lockboxes and the software has no time limits; it will never expire.
