What's New in MXI G2
The following high-level features and enhancements are in MXI G2 Version 5, Release 2:
- New TCP/IP Plug-In to monitor IP activity
- Shows active listeners and connections for multiple stacks at the same time
- Interactive packet trace facility - with the ability to offload trace in IPCS or TCPDUMP formats
- Monitor TN3270 performance (z/OS 1.8+ only)
- z/OS 1.10 support
- EAV DASD support
- Data collectors now automatically quiesce during periods of low activity providing large resource savings
- DASD information now only collected on one system in a sysplex and stored in an XCF structure - provides CPY saving and
reduces contention issues with MXIDMON
- Favorite commands facility introduced to the ISPF interface
- Dynamic CDT RACF classes can be managed by the MXI RACF Plug-In
- Simplified install and improved PARMLIB statement processing
