Newton, MA —December 12, 2005 – Rocket Software (www.rocketsoftware.com), a Boston-based developer of Enterprise Infrastructure products, today announced that it has added Stranix Co. (www.stranix.com), a global provider of transformational workforce performance solutions, to its global partner network. Stranix will incorporate Rocket’s ActiveGuide performance suite into its solutions for improving employee and organizational performance. ActiveGuide allows companies to incorporate real-time interactive performance support for their enterprise applications, reducing the need for training, dramatically improving employee productivity and substantially lowering the Total Cost of Ownership. ActiveGuide was recently awarded the 2005 Performance Centered Design Award for creating the Interactive Coach, a tool to help companies evaluate and test software created by Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM). The PCD Awards have been presented since 1997, and are adjudicated by an independent panel of design experts.
ActiveGuide was developed to help employees complete business processes rather than learn about the applications used to complete those processes. Using a simple online wizard, users receive prompts, support and advice that allow them to use new programs and get right to work without training. ActiveGuide catches errors and enforces business rules automatically, and users consistently demonstrate a higher level of performance proficiency than employees who participate in training sessions. The ActiveGuide Suite will be a key component in Stranix’s solution offerings. Stranix selected ActiveGuide because it is the future of performance support systems, one that enables successful first time use of virtually any browser accessed application without prior training.
