SolutionCore, the foundation of the Rocket Catalant product, has
been a major development environment for the Telecom manufacturers
during the last 20 years. It has been used to build best of the breed
EMS and NMS solutions.
Totally ahead of time, it introduced a full object-oriented ORB before
Corba even existed with advanced technologies such as OO modelling
(with multiple inheritance), client/server code generation, persistence
(to all major RDBMS), communication (via its AEC protocol), Services
(Find, List, Bulk, etc.).
SolutionCore is still actively maintained, running in hundreds of
production sites, and continues to be deployed to many new sites every
year.
